Thank you for your interest in Bulgaria and in Snow Goose Chalet. The holiday experience that we aim to provide embraces comfort, relaxation and ensuring that you get exactly what you expect for your money. Your job is to concentrate on enjoying your holiday and to let us worry about the details. We can arrange collection from the airport, run you to and from the slopes and feed you. Alternatively we can leave you to your own resources. The choice is yours.

Location

Snow Goose Chalet is located in the mountain village of Beli Iskar, seven kilometres from the ski resort of Borovets in the Rila mountain range national park and an hour's drive from Sofia International Airport. Sofia is three hours' flying time from the UK.

Perched at the top of the village, the chalet has a panoramic outlook on the rugged mountain scenery and over the roof-tops of the village in the valley below.

Borovets

Borovets is Bulgaria's oldest and liveliest mountain resort. The ski resort itself was developed in the 1980s and has twice hosted prestigious alpine World Cup races as well as international biathlon events.

The resort and the lower ski runs are carved through the thick pine forest that gives Borovets its name and charm.

Bulgaria

Bulgaria has a turbulent and colourful history, reflected in the many historic sites that call out for exploration by the inquisitive traveller. The Rila mountain range is one of seven and is located in the south-western corner of the country. At 2,925m, Mt. Musala above Borovets is the highest peak not only in Bulgaria but in the Balkans. Bulgaria is a land of 4 seasons, each with its own delights awaiting your discovery. Ski in the winter, hike along the mountain streams and up to their highest peaks in the heat of summer, it's up to you.

Snow Goose Chalet

The chalet sleeps 16 people. The open-plan, split level living and dining areas are comfy and well-equipped, with a variety of entertainment options for your home comfort. A sprawling sun-terrace extends from the ground floor, and 4 further balconies provide access to the glorious mountain views from the cosy bedrooms on the top 2 floors of the chalet.

All-inclusive chalet board includes daily breakfast and afternoon snacks, a three course meal six nights a week and as much wine or beer as you fancy. The good news is that the wine doesn't stop with dinner; you can take it into the living room and carry on as late as you like. The bad news is that you have to live with the consequences in the morning! Daily transport to and from the ski slopes, is included in your chalet board.

Booking & Prices

Snow Goose Chalet is available for the exclusive use of one group at a time. Prices are per person for the all-inclusive package, based on a minimum of ten sharing. Guests under the age of 14 pay ten Pounds a week less. We will be glad to arrange transport to and from the airport for your party.
